Frequently Asked Questions

1. What is the preorder schedule?

Pre-orders open every Saturday at 12pm and close every Wednesday at 4pm. Orders are prepared fresh for that week’s collection and delivery window.

2. How does collection work and when can I collect my order?

Collection is from Eccles, Manchester and is arranged by confirmed slot. Once your order is ready, you will receive a ready-for-pickup email and we may contact you by phone or WhatsApp to confirm your collection time & location. Please wait for your confirmed slot before travelling.

Please note: Collection takes place during our weekly collection window from Friday 12pm to Saturday 12pm. Exact collection timing may be arranged individually depending on your order, and customers should wait for confirmation before travelling.

3. How will I know my collection slot or delivery timing?

After your order is placed, collection details or delivery timing will be confirmed separately. Please make sure your phone number and email address are correct at checkout so we can contact you if needed.

4. Do you offer local delivery?

Yes. Local delivery is available within our selected area from Friday 12pm to Saturday 12pm each week. Delivery availability and pricing will be shown at checkout.

5. Is there a minimum order for local delivery?

Yes. Local delivery is only available when your basket meets the delivery minimum shown at checkout. If your order does not meet the minimum, you can still choose collection.

6. What if I am outside your delivery area?

If your address is outside our local delivery area, delivery will not appear at checkout. You can still place your order for collection if collection is available.

7. Can items sell out before pre-orders close?

Yes. All bakes are made in limited weekly quantities, so some products may sell out before the preorder window closes on Wednesday.

8. Are your bakes made fresh to order?

Yes. Everything is baked fresh to order in weekly batches for collection or local delivery.

9. Where do I collect from?

Collection details will be sent after your order is placed. Please wait for your order confirmation and collection information before travelling.

10. Are your products made in a home kitchen?

Yes. Quiet Crumbs Bakery operates from a registered home kitchen in Eccles, Manchester. All products are prepared and baked there, and we hold a 5-star Food Hygiene Rating.

11. Do you accept cancellations or returns?

Because our products are made to order and are perishable food items, we are unable to accept returns once an order has been prepared, collected, or delivered. If there is an issue with your order, please contact us as soon as possible.

12. Do you offer wholesale or larger orders?

Yes. We welcome wholesale and larger order enquiries. Please use the contact page or email us to discuss your requirements.
